Provides a powerful antioxidant, supports the immune system, maintains a healthy heart, protects tissues from oxidative stress, a vital cofactor to collagen formation
Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is a white, crystalline, water-soluble substance found in citrus fruits. As an antioxidant, vitamin C removes free radicals in the body and protects tissues from oxidative stress. Vitamin C also promotes the absorption of iron while inhibiting its oxidation. Vitamin C is an important cofactor in the formation of collagen, the connective tissue that supports arterial walls, skin, bones and teeth.
Vitamin C is needed when stress occurs
The adrenal glands contain more vitamin C than any other body and are needed at higher levels during times of stress.2 Physical stress can also increase the need for vitamin C.
Our buffer vitamin C powder contains four buffer minerals in addition to ascorbic acid. When mixed with water, it produces a solution with reduced acid that does not irritate the stomach and intestinal mucosa. Due to the minerals, the drink also tastes more pleasant and healthy. The substances used in this product boil for a short time when mixed with water.
